Peggy Jean Failing, 59, of Perry, Oklahoma, was the daughter of Bill Ray and Betty Jo (Schinerling) Failing. She was born on July 22, 1950 in Ponca City, Oklahoma and died Sunday, January 17, 2010 at Green Valley Nursing Home.
She enjoyed cooking, cake decorating, crocheting and babysitting. Peggy's true passion was reading.
Graveside memorial services will be 3:00 p.m. Thursday, January 21, 2010 at the Union Cemetery in Billings. Rev. Floyd Westfall will officiate. Services are under the direction of Brown-Dugger Funeral Home.
Memorials may be made to the Billings Volunteer Fire Department in care of Brown-Dugger Funeral Home, 1010 N. 7th Street, Perry, Oklahoma 73077.
Peggy is survived by one son, Rick Reaves and his wife, Pam, of Billings, Oklahoma; two daughters, Alison Lopez of Enid, Oklahoma and Alicia Macias of Billings, Oklahoma; eight grandchildren, Tori Reaves, Billy Reaves of Billings, Oklahoma, Kody Lopez, Michael Lopez and Andrew Lopez, all of Enid, Oklahoma, Angelina Macias, Laney Macias and Landon Macias, all of Billings, Oklahoma; her father, Bill Failing of Perry, Oklahoma; one brother, Scott Failing of Ponca City, Oklahoma; one sister, JoAnn O'Neal of Ada, Oklahoma and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Betty Jo Failing.
